If you say this while asking for a higher minimum wage, then you are not, in fact, a supporter of slavery. If you own a business and pay under the table less than minimum wage, it is. The simple act of migrating is NOT slavery. The simple act of employing a migrant is NOT slavery.

    2. Another day, another attempt to move the narrative away from the Epstein files.

      A) I can’t afford hotels now a days anyway
      B) My food comes from the farmers & the Republicans who hire these illegal immigrants
      C) I do my own fucking dishes

did any democrat’s say they don’t think undocumented immigrants deserve a fair wage? i dont see how acknowledging immigrants keep our country running is a bad thing. The Irish immigrants i descend from dug the canals and built the bridges in my town and we talk about that with pride.

OP, why do I never see rebel flags at progressive rallies, but they are all over the place at regressive rallies?

The both sides argument is done. The current admin promised to release files they had on their desk and are now saying it’s a hoax and if you care about it your stupid.

I see y’all are grabbing the diversion bait like hungry fish. Back to Hunter, Hillary and Obama!!

Silly point to try and make. He’s not arguing that illegal immigration’s the only way to do this work. He’s pointing out the hypocrisy of those who depend on and even benefit from illegal immigration claiming they want to end it. He’s also pushing back against the „illegal immigrants are violent criminals“ crowd.

It’s hilarious Hunter Biden was interviewed by Channel 5 News.

Who is Hunter Biden? Is he a politician? Why does his opinion matter that much?

Who needs context when you can just fill in the blanks yourself and rage about it online?

Y’all realize you’re doing the same shit the „normies“ do and getting mad at cherry picked quotes from a screenshotted Tweet from an engagement-baiting source?

It’s lazy as fuck, but that’s what the system counts on. You’re bombarded with so much information you don’t even take the time to think about it. You can’t. That interview is over 3 hours long and your mind is already made up because you saw a tweet. In fact, OP’s mind is so made up that they’re using this BS to push partisan delusions about democrats supporting slavery.

Please take a step back for a moment, ground yourself, and remember that nobody is completely immune to these tactics.

It’s giving: Kelly Osborne making a fool of herself and being racist on The View

    13. … hunter Biden is not a politician. He is also someone who has a history of drug abuse. His opinion on anything should be taken with a grain of salt. Not used as a norm for an entire political party.

O look. 2025 account trying to distract everyone away from Epstein files.

OP’s point only makes sense if your alternative is amnesty, a path to citizenship, and a living wage. But it’s not. It’s arrest, thrown into indefinite detention for years until a hearing can be held, and then deportation to a third party country where this alien isn’t even from. From that vantage point, the Dems alternative of looking the other way probably is preferred by the illegal alien.

    16. Nice try, but I think there was an element of kidnapping with slavery that is absent in illegal immigration.

    17. OHoSPARTACUS on

So you’re trying to say being against mass deportations is the same as being for slavery?

A major hotel would NEVER take the risk of employing people who were undocumented and ineligible to work. And I do my own dishes. How stupid do these people think we are?

    21. The root cause of illegal immigrants in every country(not just murikkka) is that employers hired them to keep their prices down… Otherwise they say „the business won’t be profitable“, and there’s no rules or laws that can combat that…

Hunter Biden, the mastermind behind the collapse we are collectively experiencing! Get him!

    23. One day an immigrant will take his job on the boards of Ukrainian energy companies and then he’ll be sorry.

kelly osbourne was on the view and caught major shit for saying the exact same thing in 2015. Go ahead and watch everyone’s reaction and gasps… what a difference 10 years makes.

Except both legal and illegal immigrants are paid minimum wage (I’m going to base their wages and living standards off of farming industry) $7.32-$12.50 an hour and the company often provides food and housing for their foreign workers or at the minimum subsidized it for them, and provides transportation to and from work. Meanwhile with my normal citizen wage I can’t afford to live on my own, can’t afford to buy my own food, can’t afford to go to a hotel, can’t afford to buy dishes or eat out where dishes are used, and can’t afford transportation. Seems like my regular citizen ass is the real slave here
