John Oliver, the host of HBO’s “Last Week Tonight,” this weekend expressed his sadness at CBS’ decision to cancel “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.”
But the English American comedian added: “I’m partly excited to see what they’re gonna do for the next 10 months.”

He wont do anything to piss anybody off because at his heart he’s a company man.
He threw away Colbert to be Col-bert. A millennial version of Jay Leno.
Can we back off his ding dong just a bit?
It’ll be like Conan getting kicked off the Tonight Show.
Conan did stuff like introducing a Bugatti dressed up like a mouse as a new character and playing licensed music to „waste NBC’s money“.
It was all a bit, there weren’t really wasting much money, but it’s all about the attitude.
Drop his mask and actually reveal his true self?
Hope he burns it to the ground, metaphorically.
Act like he a victim of a nazi like regime while making cheap propaganda for 15 year olds that never watch TV anyways?
If Colbert is smart and savvy enough, the gloves have just come off. No one and nothing is sacred anymore….the way it should be.
If you’re walking on ice, you might as well dance.
