Apollo 11, landed on the Moon on my 11th Birthday. We were up late watching it on TV with family and friends with all the adults saying things like “can you believe it!” “Oh my God” “this is so surreal”
I too was excited, but after about an a half hour I wanted to go to bed as it was approaching midnight. The adults couldn’t believe I wanted to go to bed with all this still going on.
