      And water is wet. All the racist I know came out loud and proud when Trump won. Their talking point? They didn’t come into the US „the right way…“ Therefore they are criminals“. 🤦‍♂️

The majority of Americans see through Trump’s claims that his administration is deporting only the “worst of the worst” criminals and instead believe he is focusing “too much” on deportations and deporting more people than they expected, according to a new CBS News poll. The poll revealed that the president is losing ground on other matters too, such as the Epstein case and Trump’s tariffs obsession.

      He likes big numbers, so they are picking up everyone.

      My neighbor had DACA and got a green card and won’t listen he thinks he’s fine because he has a family and a job here now.

      I worry it’s only a matter of time, the people who they know where they are also the easiest to scoop up.

      Trump just has a radically different definition of „worst of the worst“ than most people have… because he has exactly Steven Miller’s definition. I’ll leave it as a exercise for the reader as to who Miller thinks are the worst

      Is a math problem. He’s doing worse on deportations and arrests than Obama was with a bloated ICE agency trying to go around due process to keep the MAGATs happy. They can smell the fear but don’t see the tears

      Oh good, *Trump and the republicans still have unilateral control of the government*, but at long last, people feel a certain way about one aspect of what Trump has done.

      Meanwhile…those exact same people will happily and proudly vote for the next authoritarian sociopath who is propped up to maintain conservative rule.

      It’s actually arguable that he’s doing the opposite – lazily targeting productive people that generally abide by rules and ignoring actual violent criminals that would be difficult and dangerous to track down.

      A few days ago: „Four United States-born children have been released from U.S. immigration custody after being detained at Peace Arch Park, just south of White Rock, for more than two weeks.

      Their mother remains at a detention facility in Tacoma, Wash., pending immigration charges.

      According to [**the Oregon Public Broadcaster**](https://www.opb.org/article/2025/07/11/portland-family-detained-immigration-kenia-merlos/), Portland-based Kenia Jackeline Merlos, her nine-year-old triplets and seven-year-old son were detained on June 28. Merlos, her kids, and her mother had travelled to Peace Arch State Park when U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) agents took them into custody.

      Blaine, Wash., immigration lawyer Len Saunders tells 1130 NewsRadio that he’s never seen a mother and children arrested for possible “alien smuggling” at the Park before.

      “This administration, it’s almost like they’re on steroids here, going after every single person,” he said Tuesday.

      “I’ve never seen a family, especially U.S.-citizen children, held in one of these local facilities. There are small jail cells which are not made for longer stays,” he explained.

      Saunders says that as Merlos has a pending U.S. visa, it’s unclear whether she will be released from detention or deported.“

      Some ICE members admitted that they already feel ashamed about going after the “low hanging fruit”, like that poor old guy sent to Guatemala because he lost his green card and was arrested and deployed they day he had an appointment to get a new green card

      A significant number of people don’t care that they aren’t bad people. For a lot of magats grease people being “illegal” is enough and I think we all know that for many of them simply being different is enough. It’s certainly enough for the fascist cowards paid by our tax dollars.

      He’s targeting the easiest victims he can find. Those that are trying to work through the system or just trying to earn a living. Don’t see a lot of hardened criminals being detained although I’m sure there have probably been a few.

      Let’s be honest. At least half of Americans knew this wouldn’t just be criminals. They willingly voted for this knowing that every brown person would be fair game. Because this is what they wanted.
