It seems Japanese tend to assume that foreigners won’t be interested in local festivals. This isn’t always true. Local festivals are a nice place to get to know neighbors.

Heres an idea. All skilled and educated foreign expat leaves Japan and let them deal with low skilled foreign workers.

Unless, you are in I.T. nobody should consider working in Japan. A salary of ¥ 240,000 before tax and other contribution, city tax, rent, health insurance, Shakai Hoken basically, is not living, its poverty!
