Why am I seeing so much Jennifer Love Hewitt in my feed all of a sudden

The feud rumors restarted because Sarah would give a funny look when Jennifer’s name was bought up on the red carpet. Sarah seems like a passive aggressive, mean girl to me.

Person does not keep up with co-worker from 30 years ago! News at 6!

It’s funny how a lot of these media outlets like to make something benign into a big deal. Maybe they didn’t particularly like each other, that doesn’t mean it’s an ongoing feud for the ages.

we have this weird parasocial expectation of celebrities

just because they stared together on a show or movie or played on the same team, we expect them to be not just friends, but best friends forever

      they’re just co workers

in non celebrity life, how many of us are friends with our coworkers? my guess is pretty much none of us. go to work, go home

yet we have different expectations for celebrities and its pretty weird

Not too unusual. I also don’t talk to coworkers I had briefly at 18.

Today I learned that I must be feuding with anyone I haven’t talked to since we worked together when we were 18.

    7. Weird cause I have coworkers from the 90s I don’t speak with and no one cares or finds it weird.

Oh, she “revealed” it. This intrepid journalist should be commended for such a scoop. 🙄

    9. I also have not spoken to the people I worked with thirty years ago. Why should they?

Doesn’t surprise me. I work in entertainment. There are coworkers I’ve spent years sitting next to every single day I haven’t talked to in nearly a decade. There are actors I’ve trained next to and performed with for years I don’t ever talk to. Not everyone’s on social media posting regular life. There are people I’ve spent months with whose names I don’t even know anymore, gone to memories past.

And none of it is out of malice or having a falling out or devaluing people. Seeing them is like just picking up where you left off. And that’s okay. People just don’t all cross paths all the time. They move on. They move in different directions. Families, different jobs, health, careers, life. New people come and go. And sometimes you just learn to make the most of life around you. And it just happens to be with a few people at a special moment in time. Then that time fades.

So yeah, they were probably coworkers who maybe liked each other, but just didn’t stay in touch past the movie. It came out in an era pre social media, when not everyone had a cell phone or even an email address, when their social circles might not have crossed. It’s fully believable they just haven’t talked or didn’t keep in regular touch. Some casts do. Some don’t. It’s like think about how many of your old coworkers stayed together on a group chat from your first few jobs.

    11. I do not remember the names of most of my former co-workers. Not because I hate them, but only because work was the only time we ever saw each other.

    12. Sarah Michelle Gellar pretty famously keeps it all business on set (minus Freddie). She wasn’t close with her Buffy co-stars and they worked together for over a decade.

No matter how well I get on with someone at work I have always separated them from my real mates nothing personal I just like to keep my work life separated from my social life

I wonder if Jennifer Love Hewitt and Jackie Chan are great friends that check in at least once a day since wrapping ‘The Tuxedo’?
