    1. **From reporter Curtis M. Wong:**

Stylist Julia Ragolia, who helped rebrand Pedro Pascal as a modern-day men’s fashion icon, says she and the “Last of Us” actor have parted ways.

Ragolia broke the news in an email to GQ, segments of which appeared in a short feature about her work published last week.

“I’m a storyteller, so I told a story about how men of a certain age can still be seen as sexy. After Cannes was a good time to part ways,” she wrote.

Branded by Esquire as a “menswear mastermind,” Ragolia didn’t offer specific details about her decision.

Still, the Brooklyn, New York, native has in recent weeks spoken out against backlash she says she’s received from fans as Pascal’s Hollywood profile has risen and, with it, the boldness of his red carpet ensembles.

“One of you called for my death because you didn’t like Pedro’s outfit,” she wrote on X, formerly Twitter, in April, days after Pascal appeared at a “Star Wars” event in Japan in a pair of Acne Studios-designed shorts paired with brown knee-high boots. “I’m not even going to comment on individual taste or one’s personal preferences. I’m just going to let you sit with your obsession.”

In the wake of Ragolia’s departure, Pascal has been working with a Los Angeles-based stylist.

Death threats are of course over the line, but that outfit is atrocious.

Why on earth do people have to be like that?? Death treats over outfits? I wish people were able to act sensible.

      Geesh

      Skeletor

    4. Fandom in general has become so ridiculously insane these days I’m kind of shocked there really haven’t been any more Mark David Chapman kind of situations.

      These people are crazy.

I like how because one person issued a death threat to a stylish it means that people are insane.

    6. Why do people suck and can’t just mind their own business! Social media has made people way more sociopathic.

I really dislike this headline because there is absolutely no evidence that because of a single death threat the stylist quit or was fired. But I know that doesn’t get clicks.

Where’s the actual threat? Sounds like she made it up. Also I don’t think men’s fashion is her calling.

i’ve seen the outfit, tbh i could see someone saying „who ever is your stylist should be shot“.

Terrible outfit but I can’t believe someone would make a death threat over it. Even if it was just someone trying to be a troll, it’s just uncalled for.

    12. Howard_Cosine on

What? The type of person who would make a death threat over an outfit should not be feared to follow through on it. Just stay at your job lady. Jfc.

    13. OtherUserCharges on

Did they name and shame the person? If not it feels kinda BS. I’m sure plenty of people said mean things which is also unacceptable, but everyone always says they received death threats and often they are rude but not something to make you say oh that person really might try to murder them.

Oh my god. My heart skipped a beat. I thought Pedro was the one that gave her the death threat reading the headline lmao

    15. Positive_Bill_5945 on

That’s outrageous! Death threats are never okay and this doesn’t even make sense. What kind of an outfit could a stylist possibly pick out that would warrant calls for her….oh.

    16. The shirt and the boots are more offensive than the shorts. But the combination is what makes it deadly tbh.

    17. Pedro always looks fly. Even in a sillier outfit. Dude can pull off anything.

While people are crazy I’m surprised she would let a twitter based death threat make her quit a gig like that.
