      I just want him to start doing the Colbert Report again, but have his Republican character evolve to a stereotypical neoliberal centrist war hawk (no idea if his personal politics are advanced enough to actually pull that role off though)

      Not that Fallon is introspective to ever understand this but this is the difference between speaking truth to power and whatever Fallon thinks passes for journalism/entertainment on his show.

      This type of show is dying, and probably for the best, but to lose a show for criticizing Mad King Trump tells you everything you need to know about the oligarchs running America right now.

      I truthfully do not watch any late night shows, but, it’s truly very sad he’s not able to end the show on his terms. In general, people in this country feel too entitled to mess with other’s livelihood. Whether it’s tech layoffs, Karen’s complaining about the mildest inconvenience, or having your show ripped out from underneath you. Really disheartening
