House Republicans have for a second time this week blocked a resolution that would force Attorney General Bondi to release the so-called “Epstein Files,” even as the outcry from President Trump’s most ardent supporters has not abated. Another measure to force the documents’ release could come up for a vote in the coming weeks.

It’s very much par for the course with republicans. So many of the demented things they accuse democrats of doing have turned out to be the very thing they’re actually doing. Of course they don’t want to release the Epstein information because they’re the ones the truth will destroy. I think they’ve massively overblown the facts of the situation, but the fact is that many people who participated in the abuse of girls and young women alongside Epstein are alive and deserve to be prosecuted.
I don’t care who is implicated, whether they’re democrats, republicans, rich, poor, left or right, *anyone* who is found guilty in a fair and unbiased trial needs to face the consequences of their disgusting crimes. The only concern I have is that the victims also need to be protected from being traumatized all over again and from having their personal information disclosed to the general public.
So come on Trump. Release the information if it’s all a democratic hoax. Let’s give it some daylight and see what’s what. Give the people who have supported you for all this time what you promised them in return for giving you so many passes on your disgusting behavior and electing you to office a second time, even after felony convictions.
Maybe we need to have joint MAGA/Democrat protests to demonstrate that we’re not the ones who want to protect pedos. What if Jeffrey Epstein. Is the thing that reunites the country… that would be surreal. The crazy thing is that I can actually sort of see it happening, at least to some extent.
