Colbert wasn’t fired. So saying he was and liking basically implicates this is what Trump wanted to approve the merger.

I know Colbert is an upstanding guy so he’ll probably play nice, but he has almost nothing to lose at this point. I hope he goes brutally hard at Trump for the next 10 months.
But Colbert probably won’t because he has 200 people that have 10 months to find a new job and if he pisses Paramount off too much they might shut it down early costing all of those 200 people a steady paycheck.
