In meinem WG gab es einen Brandnotfall und nachdem alles aussortiert war, war dies auf dem Boden. Der transparente Knopf sitzt nicht dort, wo er sein sollte. Soll ich einen ganz neuen Alarm kaufen? Oder ist es behoben?

I believe this is just a light diffuser for the status light. You can just push it back in.
Edit: it works also as a test button.
