      It is totally a political move (see: the Skydance merger) so that CBS Paramount don’t piss off the FCC – which is controlled by people **appointed by Donald Trump**, (who Colbert is very critical of.)

      Basically, it’s a step in any dictatorship. Bow to the supreme leader, censor/cancel opposing views.

      Totally legit. Cancelling the number one rated late night show for, checks notes….9 straight years. Complicit ass kissers.

      Paramount is a private company but if there was any sorry of communication between them and Trump in regards to Colbert’s show i believe the first amendment would be in play. I’m not a lawyer but I do think it’s a valid argument

      Hes getting canceled because that was probably the agreement they made with trump. Im not stating conspiracy either so don’t try that. When has a show that just got Nominated for a Emmy get canceled right after? When does that ever happen? It doesn’t. He was clearly targeted. Paramount doesn’t have a backbone. This is what happens when you expose the right people.

      These tv companies are all about making money. They actually do not care about the content being created, they care more about the ads being sold in between. If they could run ads 24/7 they would. They only want rating to ensure there are eyes watching the ads. Creating tv for artistic purposes does not exist in the television business. It’s all about money
