It’s wild to me how a real and sane person would actually vote reform.
Am I mad that I assume Farage has foreign backers who are very much keen he damages the UK as much as possible?
Tice was on TV last night saying that green energy is to blame for high energy costs.
When do we make it a crime to accept donations from fossil fuel companies then?
Anyone still opposed to renewable energy in 2025 is a fucking dinosaur and deserves no votes from anyone. Even if you somehow still don’t believe in man-made global warming it still makes total sense to invest in free, renewable energy versus a shrinking, finite source that has already caused multiple wars and ecological disasters.
Isn’t it funny how Farage seems to have found a passion for all the same things that a lot of right-wing US lobbyists support – anti-abortion, pro private healthcare, pro fossil fuels. I wonder why that could be.

It’s amusing when the media genuinely thinks anyone planning to vote Reform believes this, they are getting increasingly desperate.
I predict the guardian will continue to fail at being a „news“ publisher, simply by not publishing news but opinionated click bate articles.
It’s amazing to me how supposedly Patriotic, Economy-First politicians can oppose cheap, reliable, home-grown energy, an industry that we’re a world leader in thanks to our geography, for reasons that amount to „We think its a bit gay (which we also think is bad)“.
The other parties are not doing nearly enough to fight Reform. God help us all if Reform wins the next election. They’ll take us back to the 19th Century while China is already leaving us and the US behind as far as research and development. China and the oil companies put more money than anyone into renewable energy technology and it’s because it is the way of the future.
It is incredibly dumb and dangerous that research and development has become a culture war issue for charlatans like Tice and Farage to use to manipulate the thick.
The US rose to be a superpower because it got control of 20th Century energy technology (oil). Whoever wins on non-oil technology will dominate the future and I really don’t want it to be China.
New East Yorkshire mayor, Luke Campbell, campaigned on promising to keep jobs in Hull (and surrounding areas) and at the same time elected to a party that if elected will see skilled jobs from the region potentially cut.
This is how you attack them. They ideologically oppose your jobs and your energy bills, because Big Oil has them in their pocket.
I could understand someone voting reform if their stance was just a hard line in the sand for immigration.
But the rest of their policies are literally horseshit that benefits nobody.
Incorrect framing, I think I’ve heard Nigel Farage saying he’s all for renewables they just have to pay for themselves, no government subsidies!
Which I hundred percent agree with if they’re that good then they should be able to pay for themselves right???? , also think we need to invest massively nuclear SMR!
Let’s stop building wind farms with Chinese supplied equipment, and build Rolls-Royce SMR Instead

I believe that free public education has been a total waste of money for the last 80 years. I have yet to meet any reform voter that uses their brains.
Why would anyone want to remove or reduce energy independence.
The way to end this nonsense is to pass on the benefits of renewables to customers.
We hear we are the at the forefront of renwable energy yet our energy bills continue to increase. Our currently energy situation and strategy is suffocating people and the economy.
