If Jimmy retires when his contract ends next year, as he’s been contemplating, Colbert could just switch networks.

Is it more because the nature of lightning has shifted to a Jimmy Fallon model, and older audiences aren’t really giving them the money they need. Or is it that they’re hemorrhaging money from their failed shows and streaming crap that isn’t doing well so you’re trying to save money.
Even if the show isn’t raking cash, I’m still shocked they’d axe it, I’d imagine it had a lot of influence and would be making some decent return, but — and eh, I guess they ran the numbers and decided to pull the plug.
I look forward to seeing what you do next Stephen! Probably a podcast like Conan.

He was the funniest of the late night bunch(the bar wasn’t high) and he’s the one getting his show axed that’s unfortunate oh well had to start somewhere
