      Okay I don’t care how sick you felt drag your corpse to the floor to vote against everything. I get it’s performative and the Rs can pass whatever without but damn talk about optics on laying down.

      There is one branch of government in America with trump in office, he made it perfectly clear that if you don’t do exactly what he says he’ll ruin your career and put a target on your back, congress and the senate have a republican majority and are just going along with whatever trump wants and will continue to do so as long as they have the majority. Trump is killing NPR and PBS for personal reasons that go back decades when they did a skit about him on Sesame Street and for telling the truth and stating the unbiased facts about him in recent years it has nothing to do with saving money. IF there is a free and fair midterms election and the democrats don’t take the majority Americans will suffer the consequences of a deranged president and the government officials that enabled him to use mob style rule, you do what he wants, agree with him no matter what or he will target you and your family.

      Maybe the rest of NATO can cobble together a Radio Free U.S. to broadcast factual information behind Trumpist occupied borders to keep us informed of factual information until such time as the U.S. can be liberated.

      Republicans want everyone to be hooked on hate-filled faux entertainment disguised as news such as they enjoy. They despise the unbiased reporting of facts and thoughtful programs on NPR and PBS.

      Glad NPR leaned into the „both sides“ thing giving more airtime to the GOP and allies spouting clearly false narratives and alternative facts only to get cut anyway.
