Don’t forget that not only did Trump drop more bombs within the first few years of his previous term alone than were dropped during Obama’s entire eight years as president, but Trump also reversed Obama era policy that required transparency for drone strike casualties and deaths, and especially where it concerned civilians outside of war zones.

And this is despite the angry whataboutisms and criticisms from Republicans who constantly attack Obama for his administration’s use of drone strikes.

Trump actually escalated the use of drone strikes during his first term, but rarely, if ever, do you hear his supporters condemning him for his far more brazen, cruel and interventionist foreign policy decisions.

In fact, Donald Trump was viewed as such a dangerous and meddlesome foreign policy hawk, that Congress had to pass not one—but two historic war powers resolutions to curb his appetite for interventionism and conflict.

The first was passed to end his military involvement in the war in Yemen, the second to prevent a war with Iran after Trump authorized the strike that killed an Iranian general.

That latter part, coupled with Trump’s decision to abandon the JCPOA out of sheer spite for Obama, together with his penchant for escalating tensions and provocations in the middle east (especially with Iran), and alongside his volatile foreign policy agenda that has put stress on our relationships with allies and adversaries alike and has destabilized foreign countries, all played a role in triggering the recent regional war between Israel and Iran and precipitating America’s involvement. Involvement that will have serious repercussions down the road.

Trump claims to have never started any wars. This is insanely disingenuous, and not just considering recent events.

During his first term, Trump escalated our country’s wars in multiple theaters, leading to massive casualties. In Afghanistan he substantially increased the number of airstrikes. In Yemen, he escalated both U.S. counterterrorism activities and support for the violent Saudi-led war against the Houthis. He’s also responsible for instigating provocations in the Persian Gulf.

During the first Trump administration, the U.S. was also engaged in military conflicts in Iraq, Syria and Afghanistan and more than 60 American soldiers died in hostile action.

Then there’s his trade wars, his negotiations with terrorists, his subordinate relationship with Putin, his escalation of economic and diplomatic tensions between us, our trade allies, and foreign competitors, his ongoing actions that have strained our alliances and weakened our soft power and economic leverage the world over…

His careless decision to abandon the Kurds and aid Russian proxies in war zones like Syria, his choices to side with our enemies over our own intelligence agencies, his self-enriching and chummy relationships with autocrats, dictators and petro-fascists around the world, which has helped him legitimize authoritarianism at home and abroad…

His failure to broker any meaningful peace deal throughout his time in office, especially when it comes to the multiple wars he promised to end on „day one“ of his second administration—and wars that have only escalated since his inauguration.

How he practically defended Mohammed Bin Salman after the grotesque murder of Jamal Khashoggi, only to later hold a public meeting with the Saudi Crown Prince in the White House where he was cold selling weapons to him in front of cameras.

Then there’s his withholding of important aid to Ukraine in its fight against Russian sponsored invaders after demanding dirt on Joe Biden from Zelensky.

And despite Trump blaming the war in Ukraine on Biden, he called Putin’s invasion „savvy“ and „genius“ and constantly repeated Kremlin propaganda while threatening to withdraw from NATO.

Trump has always neglected to mention that he failed to broker a peace between Russia and Ukraine while Russian sponsored forces were waging war inside of Ukraine throughout the entirety of his presidency, and a war that Trump—in all likelihood—helped accelerate in the first place.

Trump has helped Putin realize some of his most ambitious goals.

Trump even sought—on multiple occasions—to loosen or even reverse Russian sanctions. He also abandoned U.S. outposts in northern Syria, allowing Russian backed forces to seize control of them and fill the power void left by Trump’s withdrawal.

In the past, Trump has also dismissed the notion that Putin is a „killer“ who murders his political opponents, and trusted him over our own intelligence agencies.

Don’t forget his disastrous meeting with Zelensky in the White House which devolved into a one sided shouting match and only amounted to an effort to extort Ukraine’s president.

How about when Trump insulted Zelensky in public for weeks; calling him a „dictator without elections“ while not uttering one word of rebuke for Putin?

Not only does Ukraine’s constitution forbid elections during war times, but Putin—an *actual* dictator—has held on to power for a quarter century through elections that have been widely deemed fraudulent by the international community.

Trump’s „Putin first“ agenda aside, there’s also the multiple iterations of Trump’s travel bans and „Muslim bans“ which have only heightened tensions between the U.S. and the Middle East.

And let’s not forget how Trump failed spectacularly to bring „peace to the middle east.“

Nevermind his amateurish „peace deal“ that conveniently coincided with his election campaign and offered nothing in the way of actual peace.

But there’s also his formal acknowledgement of the annexation of Golan Heights, which was condemned by the international community, and his decision to recognize Jerusalem as the Capital of Israel and move the US embassy there along with all diplomatic operations. This move only aggravated tensions and compromised the US’s ability to act as a peace negotiator between Palestinians and Israelis.

More recently, the Trump administration has backed an aid delivery system in Gaza that has sidelined the UN and other humanitarian organizations in favor of an Israel-led plan that is using aid as „bait“ to herd Gaza civilians south where they are being brutalized and displaced from their homes.

„Peace and prosperity“ huh?

Donald Trump has issued more executive orders within his first 100 days than any other president in U.S. history. Far surpassing Obama, Joe Biden, and the second place record holder—FDR—who led the country through its worst depression and World War II I might add…

And while him and his supporters lament so-called „forever wars,“ they seem to have no qualms about Trump waging war against his own people.

Trump recently invoked an ambiguous section of US code to federalize troops and justify the invasion of US states without any consent from the governors.

The governor of CA, the mayor of LA and even local law enforcement have all expressed that it was unnecessary to send thousands of troops to LA to subdue and suppress protests that were largely contained, confined to a small area and generally peaceful but for a few isolated incidents that right wing media recorded and played over and over again on their broadcasts to push a narrative of widespread unrest.

Trump has signaled his intention to turn the military into his own personal army of vengeance. Trump won’t hesitate to mobilize, deputize and federalize troops and immigration agents against anyone who publicly opposes his administration.

“Before I even arrive at the Oval Office, shortly after we win the presidency, I will have the horrible war between Russia and Ukraine settled. I’ll get it settled very quickly. I know both; I know Zelensky and I know Putin.”

Weird how there’s no concerted effort to label him Genocide Donald.
