Submission Statement: Dr. David Kelly was Biological Warfare Expert for the Ministry of Defence and a UN Weapons Inspector.

He courageously exposed in July 2023 that Iraq had **no** weapons of Mass Destruction.

Two days later he was found dead in a field.

Of all the convenient suicides there have been, this one has to be near the top of the list of „absolutely no way“.

He also told his wife and closest friend that he was not suicidal in any way a week before his testimony. Commenting because this needs visibility, this man shouldn’t be forgotten

No way – like, totally, NO way.

Went for a walk, no indication of self-harm ideation, and found dead with relatively rudimentary wounds to his wrists.

      Too convenient

Confused – what is the conspiracy? At the time, it was a massive indictment against the British government (the fact that such a key British government person committed suicide) bringing the UK into a horrific war that their allies rejected, such as Canada and France

      No conspiracy involved….

    6. That’s not what David Kelly did at all, though?

He was part of the UNSCOM inspections teams and always claimed that Saddam had chemical and biological weapons of war.

In one off-record interview, he refuted claims made by Colin Powell about *one* specific facility which he said was not a biological weapons facility. When the reporter released a story about it, they also attributed a claim to Kelly (which he refuted,) about the time frame in which they could produce weapons (I think it was 30 minutes or something,) being included in the Iraq WMD report at the directive of higher ups in the British government.

Kelly refuted that he said anything about the timeframe claim but never refuted anything else about the report. IIRC, Kelly even made mention of how he couldn’t have been the only leak because there was info in the article released by the reporter that he wasn’t even privy to.

He was not a whistleblower (at least not willingly,) and at every opportunity came to the same conclusions in his documentation that the Bush and Blair governments were saying.

At best he was basically the Forrest Gump of weapons inspectors who didn’t realize he was leaving threads exposed to being pulled.

His death is absolutely suspicious as hell, but he definitely didn’t willingly or hell, even knowingly, expose anything particularly noteworthy.
