      >Jane’s Addiction members Dave Navarro, Eric Avery and Stephen Perkins filed a lawsuit Wednesday against lead singer Perry Farrell, following an onstage altercation in September 2024 that they claim derailed both their North American tour and a planned album. The band members are seeking at least $10 million from Farrell, claiming in the lawsuit that the group lost that amount due to the tour’s cancellation and the suspension of all band activities.

      >Guitarist Navarro is suing Farrell for assault and battery following the onstage incident last fall, when Farrell threw a punch at Navarro during a concert in Boston. Crew members then intervened and escorted Farrell off stage. The complaint, filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court and obtained by Variety, also accuses Farrell of intentional infliction of emotional distress, negligence, breach of fiduciary duty and breach of contract.

      I don’t blame the band and I feel bad for the crew that were working that tour. They were all suddenly out of jobs.

      I loved their early albums so much. I wish Farrell could get his shit together.

      I imagine the result of this will be a settlement involving a new tour and new album, with Dave getting a higher cut of the proceeds.

      The next stop on their tour after the onstage brawl was supposed to be South Star Music Festival in Huntsville, AL. Tom Morello showed up instead, and no one missed Jane’s Addiction at all.
