Reconciliation has made some big progresses and part of that is that indigenous nations, bands and ect are beginning to get their individual identities back. We can no longer lump them all together on certain issues .
I hope that they can retain their national alliance but also begin to be able to move as individuals.
Canadians still have a toddler understanding of this and I hope that awareness grows aswell , we have made progress.

Well this will be interesting to follow.
Wonder what side the opposition falls on this considering they want the development too.
Why are we destroying this country’s economy to appease a select group of people that comprises a few thousand at the best?
Does anyone know if this court filing means they’re putting on hold the plans announced two weeks ago to blockade the roads to the ring of fire area? (https://www.sudbury.com/local-news/first-nations-prepare-to-blockade-ring-of-fire-roads-in-protest-of-new-legislation-10879065) Attawapiskat is one of the plaintiffs here and they were also involved in the blockade plan.
