Let’s call him „Melania Smith“!
But seriously. Alberta’s government has been outragrage 24h/7 about the Liberals in power at Ottawa and kept saying that it was corrupt….and yet, they keep doing actions that stinks of collusion and favoristism.
Big article and yet my most surprising takeaway is that Premier Smith is some sort of passenger rail enthusiast. That’s a bit of a tough one for me to reconcile. I think there would be a lot of utility in an Edmonton/Calgary line alone. I would find that highly preferable to a flight.
I’m of two minds on this.
On one hand… Danielle being greasy and unethical? Must be a day that ends with Y.
On the other hand…. Danielle Smith the passenger rail enthusiast? Who knew. If it gets more passenger rail built in this country…. I’ll take it?
I would recommend this episode of The Sprawl, a Calgary focused podcast. It presents an interesting way of looking at Smith’s focus on passenger rail and how it fits into the long running dramedy of Calgary’s Green Line light rail transit.
