      From the article

“Initially, the governor’s office said it would take more than 13 hours to review the records. It provided a cost estimate of $244.64 for the work and required full payment up front. The Texas Newsroom agreed and cut a check.

After the check was cashed, the governor’s office told The Texas Newsroom it believed all of the records were confidential and asked Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, whose office referees disputes over public records, to allow the documents to be kept private.”

    2. You are a public servant. Those emails are public property. Hiding them is a crime, plain and simple.

Weird choice of words. Why are Republicans always sounding so freaky?

This seems like a game. By saying this, he is daring Musk to release them himself., right?

„Dear Gregory, it’s been hours since I’ve felt the tender caress of your child-like hands on my chest…“

      Again. Cucks!…

Repeat after me: Cucks are a national security threat.

    7. Abbott and Musk exchanging „intimate“ emails… I just threw up in my mouth.

    8. I’d say they were making a lot of off-colour jokes about Trump (and mushroom shaped items) which they don’t want made public. Possibly even Elon telling the dumb things Donnie said or did in private.

Any document produced doing your job or duties are subject to review. As a Federal Government worker, I write and produce everything knowing that. It also keeps me honest and ethical.

    10. 100% they’re shit talking trump behind his back. I’m sure it’s some form of „what a moron“, „so easy to manipulate“ etc…

The Texas legislature is so corrupt that they’ll pass a special laws saying that he doesn’t have to.

Sounds like there may be some pedophilia disclosures in there. Is Abbott also a pedophile?

Here’s another politician hiding their illegal activities!! But with no legitimate AG in Texas or Federal, there will be no enforcement. Are we starting to see the value of the AG position?

Why has no one in the US govt learned that your work phone is for work.

Every person who gets caught doing this is rich. They can afford a personal phone…so wtf.

Every federal employee knows that there is NO expectation of privacy on any government systems. As is often said in training, don’t put things in emails unless you’re comfortable with anyone and everyone reading it. Abbott knows this. He is lying if he says anything different.

    17. The emails allegedly including information on financial transactions not involving public money – so what, exactly, is the nature of Musks transactions with the Texas Governor?

    18. Tough shit. Don’t have „intimate“ conversations on work devices then, just like how the rest of us have to operate.

    19. TheAskewOne on

OK, so what do we bet on? N-word, F-word, or gross misogyny? All of the above?

    20. Zanos-Ixshlae on

Oh, intimate messages on government servers? How many racist jokes did they trade?

    21. As a Republican…too bad. All communication between elected officials (outside of national security) should be public knowledge.

    22. Commies-Fan on

Too bad. Its not classified and anything sent through that email is public. That newspaper had $244 stolen from them for their FOIA request because this asswipe was talking shit. Intimate and embarassing is for your personal email.

    23. Kerberos1566 on

Jesus Christ, can Republicans refrain from discussing raping children for five fucking minutes to get through a simple email?

    24. Why is Abbot conducting confidential, personal, intimate and embarrassing communications with a billionaire on Texas taxpayers time and dime?

    25. Maybe they are about how to fix their broken dicks. Which new specialist Rick doctor are they going to see. Surgery or pills? Voodoo or Ayahuasca?

We have heard that Elon had a botched penis procedure, idk how true it is just saying, the gov is in a wheel chair, I am not sure if his risk is affected, but I do know that some paralysed folks no longer have feeling in their private parts…

    26. TheMarkHasBeenMade on

Well isn’t that rich – we all need to be so sensitive of *his* intimate and embarrassing details BUT every woman needs to be held legally liable for *having a miscarriage or needing an abortion for a nonviable pregnancy*

Am I getting that correct, Greg???
