Whatever happens I am sure it’ll be the lowest pay grid people who suffer the consequences.
The 120k+ ers will be fine by large. They can handshake their way through their Human Resources buddies as they always seem to do. Happens in my schoolboard more often than not…even as we laid off some of those people.
(Ex) My schoolboard never seems to have enough cashola to give the EA, custodians decent wages…but never has an issue bringing in retired principals at $680 a day to do shit like sort books in the summer.
Its all bout‘ who ya know in government…just like the private sector when the bosses‘ cousin gets that random marketing gig.
