I don’t really understand the calculation. Is this just in in pre-bought tickets for today? I mean it’s still Sunday. How do they know how much it made?
we had no real interest in superman but we were really surprised at how good this was. i think the positive reviews and buzz will give it legs.
This is a sign of hope that a superb tradition is on the return. Yay movies. First date, dinner and a dinner show. Gotta love it
I was really disappointed. It couldn’t decide if it was a dark, gritty movie or a typical cheap laugh superhero movie. Luther blows a dudes head off in front of a ton of people he kidnapped and then instantly there is a cheesy joke.
It was just a mish mash superhero movie that was too jokey and severely deviated from the mythology and purpose of Superman.

I think I’m definitely in the minority in saying I just thought it was ok. Not bad or terrible. Not good or great. It entertained me for two hours and I have no desire to give it a second watch. Which is fine. Just keep Gunn away from Batman.
