    1. when you’re completely unqualified for your position, these type of asinine responses are commonplace 🤷🏽‍♀️

      >Trump’s Bonkers Response…..“Maybe they should’ve had bells,” the president suggested.

Maybe you should’ve had empathy, or intellect.

Terrible tragedy in Texas — very sad, truly heartbreaking. But I have to say, maybe… maybe they should’ve had bells. You know, in the old days, when something bad was coming — storms, floods, whatever — they’d ring the bells! Big, beautiful bells! You’d hear them from miles away. People would get to higher ground. They’d move!

Now? They have all this fancy technology — satellites, apps, fake weather people on TV — and nobody knows anything! Total confusion. When I was president the first time, believe me, we had the best flood warning system in the world. The best bells, too. Tremendous bells.

But Biden and the Democrats changed all that, even though I told them not to. No bells. No brains. Just water everywhere. Sad!

      Have you tried injecting bleach?
      or UV light?
      Maybe just nuke the tornadoes?

…ok, I’ve seen enough of bizarro-world, I would very much like to return to the sane timeline now. PLEASE??

well that part of Texas didn’t want help and Trump and Musk gutted NOAA.

In addition to the sheer idiocy of the statement, this was in response to how own daughter in law asking him what he would say to the parents of the children killed. They should have had bells is his response to a growing parent.

A bell is an apparatus that can be used to help warn people. The National Weather Service has been used to help warn people about incoming or potential bad weather. Of course, the President cut the staffing of the National Weather Service by 40% so that many of its offices have critical staff vacancies, including roles helping forecast the weather. In Texas, cuts to the weather service likely hampered coordination with local emergency management officials. Of course, it also didn’t help that FEMA was also cut by one-third, either. So, in a way, the President took away some of the bells that could have been used to help.

Solution for COVID – Inject bleach into yourself

Solution for wildfires- Sweep the forest floors

Solution for floods – Ring bells

Is there no end to this guys genius?

      >The president replied, ”There can be nothing worse than losing a child, and the way this happened… there was very early warning, they warned the day before, they warned even two days before, they warned four hours before…”

      >He added, ”Maybe they should have had bells… or something, go off. But it’s pretty dangerous territory when you think of all the times they’ve had this problem.”

„Terrible tragedy with this once in a thousand years event. Something that could have stopped this is bells. They’re very loud these bells. I used to visit an island often, with lots of pretty girls, they all had a bell tied to them. Sometimes they would try to run, but you know what, those bells would wake us up and we could stop them. I’ll tell you those bells were loud.“

For the life of me, I will never fucking understand how some people swear he’s a genius.

Put some of Trump’s unscripted speech into chat gpt and ask it what reading age it thinks he is. You can also compare speech from now and speech from 2020 and ask if there’s signs of decline/dementia. The USA has a demented 8 year old running the county.

Trump said it was so sad to see 100 year old trees die. But people, nah…. He’s a Sociopathic Narcissist!

    14. And if they had raked the forests the water would have flowed straight through instead of cresting.

    15. If only they’d gotten him a sharpie and a map of the projected path of the flood. He could have just redirected it.

    16. You mean like in the 17th and 18th century( and many centuries before). Whereas now, we have loud sirens, the internet, and mobile devices with internet access?

Not to mention, I’ve seen a lull on news updates of this disaster.

    17. I’m not an American, but the more I get to know this guy, the harder it is for me to understand how he could be elected twice as president of the United States.

The Texas republicans in Kerr Co had the option to install flood sensors and alarms to warn people of the Guadalupe flooding. The Biden admin gave them money for that, and they refused because they didn’t want Biden to get credit for anything good. They also refused to give back the money, because then it might go to a blue state.

Texas GOP: killing children to own the libs.
