      Intra-galaxy communication just wouldn’t even be feasible would it. Every solar system is pretty much stuck in their own bubble, unable to leave it or communicate out due to the sheer size of the galaxy. Well, based on current physics anyway..

      Then about which Great Silence do they speak? If there’re even much earlier ET beings with cool mega antennae there signals are on the way.
