Maybe Reform needs a one-in one-out deal with the Tories. Returning 50 members a week in a pilot scheme, perhaps.

Fantastic 😍 I can actually see the reasoning with regards to Truss, she is someone nobody respects or believes at this point so as a high profile laughing stock she’d definitely be a liability esp as she would demand a high profile re media.
Braverman would seem ideal though unless she was considered too potentially powerful within Reform for Nige’s comfort.

Suella wouldn’t leave the tories imo. It feels like her life’s goal was to be accepted into high society and rub shoulders with the elites. She probably sees Reform and the people in it on the whole as beneath her

Presumably Reform do somewhat realise that if they just become a party of Ex Tory MPs then the whole uniparty line becomes a little hollow.
That’s a strange line for them to draw considering Lee Anderson is an MP for them and Rupert Lowe formerly was.

Of course it would damage Reform’s image to take on Liz Truss.
They’d see the single most clueless and incompetent prime minister in history, and see she’s the smartest and most competent person in the party.
