I think Oasis‘ first two albums are good, plus some songs from other albums. On the other hand, I think Blur’s entire output is incredible (minus Leisure I guess)

Then why am I happy when I hear a Blur song and kinda cringing when I hear an Oasis one? Their “personalities” and trashy behaviour overshadowed their mid music a long time ago. However Blur and all its subsequent spin off projects have imo aged like a fine cheese.
But Oasis aren’t the Gorillaz.

I’ve never understood the love of Oasis, nor the comparison to the Beatles.
And yet I’ll always prefer Blur. Genuinely think Oasis were massively overrated and still do. Doesn’t help that both Noel and Liam seem like complete knobs.

I’ve seen Blur and Oasis live and honestly it’s not close in terms of performance. Blur remains the best live performance I have seen live, but in fairness there was magic in the air that night and the crowd was electric (Glastonbury 2009).
Pretty sure Damon won at being a decent human over the fragile brothers.
He is also Emily Blunts hall pass, he didn’t lost to them at everything.
