To those that aren’t aware. All conservative candidates were asked to not attend public debates with local candidates. Turns out that was really stupid.
I approve. He can only control one side, and people lives are at stake . It’s cute to Chest Bang, but a full throttle trade war with America will cost Canadians‘ lives so I can respect Carney, exhausting every available option at easing it while giving our economy time to adapt .
Trudeau would of buried us with this virtue signaling ego , Pierre would have sold us out for politics, so watching Carney try to be pragmatic is refreshing.

This part. I’ll wait to see how it turns out. Literally everyone knows that the fentanyl excuse is BS so I’m assuming the U.S. is pressuring us to make some pretty big concessions in these “negotiations.” We export 76% of our goods to the U.S., so it’s a tough spot to be in. Aside from whatever comes of these talks, I’ll judge this government’s success on how well we’re able to diversify, but unfortunately that’s not done overnight.
All that aside, I’m skeptical Trump will adhere to the terms of whatever agreement comes out of this process since he’s not adhering to the terms of the current agreement that he helped to put in place. They’ll always be some new demand, some new threat, some new punishment.

That’s right, folks; Pierre thinks Carney’s playing too rough, and should have let the other guys set all the terms.
