This is never a good idea. If you bring it back, it will fuck up the eco system. It will want to mate and nest.

I think post-King Kong (2005) he had accomplished everything he set out to do.

It actually happens to a lot of directors shortly (or eventually) after they win Best Picture (or Director): Not that they’re incapable of making good-or-even-great movies, but you definitely notice a difference.

    3. I just wish so badly he’d just use his money & influence to make one great big bloody, gory, sloppy comedy in the vein of ‘Dead-Alive’ or ‘Bad Taste’. Just one last middle finger before he goes 100% hobbiest with the extinct animals and further restoration of old footage.

Behind the Bastards recently did an episode on the De-extinction scam that has ensnared Peter Jackson. Check it out, pretty funny

Yeah, movie prices aren’t too high when a filmmaker can bring back extinct animals for funzies.

Works for me. I’d rather have Moas than another Jackson movie, good as they have been.

Sesame street is going to be a tough movie to sell but best of luck to him.

    8. I kind of wish he’d return to horror one more time before resurrecting birds 😅

Click bait headline. He’s working on several things and the Giant bird is the Moa.

I had no idea this is what Peter Jackson was up to but it makes sense somehow

    11. Am I the only one completely baffled by what’s going on in this headline?
