I think the biggest shame of it is that we’ve never ever had a legit America first party at least in my lifetime that I can even recall, Democrats or Republicans, at least in my lifetime (I’m 43). I think there’s only so much blame you can give the people that were born into this. There was probably a short window of time in early America where we could have done something about it. This two headed monster was pretty much in full existence by the time most of us were born. It does start with the people though. I can’t disagree with you there.
