Ich frage mich, wie viel von Finnlands Brain Drain auf Einwanderer der 2. Generation zurückzuführen ist, auch nachdem ihre Eltern Schwierigkeiten hatten, hier Fuß zu fassen.

So speaking Finnish fluently is not enough anymore?…
I’d bet native Finns are struggling too.
This just in: everybody struggles.
Finland bad, Finland racist… Durrrrr
Everyone has a hard time getting jobs now
Draining roadmans is not that bad thing actually.
I want to hear how the Finnish integration system works, is the budget moved along with the number of immigrants?
Are the integration efforts effective?
Suprise suprise. Integration is much more than just speaking the language.
>I wonder how much of Finland’s brain drain is due to 2nd gen immigrants struggling even after their parents struggled to set up a foothold here.
Basicly zero since even finns are struggling to find jobs in this market
Learn the language and you are well off.
tough
Everyone is always going to have different opportunities. It’s only in theory that you could divide them equally among people.
What I noticed about immigrants from where I come from is that if they can’t find a good job here, they simply go back. The trend has been more for lower-wage professions.
Only if there was something where youd, like, create your own work and be responsible for the business you did. Maybe the government could actually have useful grants, low interest loans and deferred or reduced taxes for something like that. I dont know what to call it though.
While it is true that it everyone is struggling in the current labour market climate, this is evidently not a typical „immigrant struggling“ story.
The article is clearly talking about the problems faced by foreign background people who are born here — employers assume they don’t speak Finnish even though they are second generation immigrants.
At what point will they be considered native or Finnish enough. This is the only home they know!
It’s really hard for anyone to find jobs..
Anyone denying that some jobs reject you automatically by name is in denial.
