      We need the Democratic party to openly commit to the program of FDR and LBJ.

      Medicare for All, free pre-K through university public education, a right to housing, a right to a good job, an end to poverty wages, an end to the police state, an immigration policy all America can be proud of, prosecution and jail for the fascists.

      Have been impressed with a few strong women legislators and Bernie, but the Democratic Party elite are compromised and part of the problem and not the solution. Won’t happen with either Schumer or Jeffries in charge. You had Supreme Court Justice Jackson admit publicly today that what keeps her up at night is the state of American democracy today. A remarkable statement. This should be viewed as a 5 alarm ⏰ fire warning. Instead, what do we get from Dem.

      I know Dems are pissed, but this is your punishment. Dems failed to show up in force in the presidential election. Now it’s time to pay the price for sitting home.

      The one time we could have done something….shutting down the govt….Chuck Schumer and Kirsten Gillebrand (NY Dems) refused to take that leap forward. Blame NY for electing some shitty people into office.

      At the VERY LEAST, fight within the system using all the parliamentary rules that the GOP uses against democracy.

      And when you’ve won, change the rules to make it fair for ALL and not just the donors.

      Give us medicare for all, legalize marijuana, get rid of citizens united, root out corruption, WHEREVER it exists… Work for the people and make your positions those of servants again.

      I really don’t understand why blue state governors aren’t using their state national guard to literally fight back against ICE. The federal government has been taken over by a fascist dictatorship. The old relationship between the states and the fed is long gone, and it’s about damn time elected officials recognize that.

      The Democratic leadership isn’t interested in fighting fascism, they’re only interested in softening it.

      Well first, you actually need to make the Democrats DO anything against Trump, Mueller, Vance and the rest of their batshit army before you shed blood.

      Because it seems like they’ve resigned themselves to this fate if they aren’t trying to get rid of Mamdani before the MAGA crowd does it for them.

      I wouldn’t be shocked if they lost midterms the way things are going with their party and the lack of inaction despite the repeated call to arms.
