We always knew Russia would win a long drawn out war like this has become. The main reason the west has kept it going is not for the people of Ukraine, it’s for the deterrent factor. The US wants Russia to know that this and any future attempt to gain more territory will be costly. The people of Ukraine would have been better off had Russia been allowed to take Ukraine without killing millions of Ukrainians and destroying the country.

How isn’t it enough. Why aren’t they buying things at a discount from the us, where 61 billion isnt 3.5 trillion in actual weapons. Stop losing human life, make this a petri dish for AI warfare. Get darpa involved and lauch hundreds of thousands drones all day and night. Any heart beat is targeted in a carpet bombing scheme that makes the Russians wave after wave a positive for the Ukraine’s and a win for darpa and future deterrent to china.
