I’m not sure that admitting you have a missing minute of footage every single day- even if true- is the flex you think it is.

I work in video security. There is no truth to a missing minute every day. That doesn’t happen. Yes shit does go bad in cameras but to miss a single solitary minute every day like clockwork is not a defect that a camera would possess.
You prove nothing by releasing additional video with missing time.
The way you prove anything is by going after the child rapists that are in the thousands of hours of video that you also said that you have.
Oh, what’s that? The thousands of hours of video was on the same server that the camera outside Epsteins cell was recording to and suffered catastrophic disc failure? What a strange coincidence!
The footage doesn’t even show anything but a tiny sliver of the stairs that go to the block he was on. People go up and down those stairs and sometimes you can make something out and sometimes you can’t. If somebody wanted to stay out of the camera view all they had to do was walk on the right side of the stairs.
It was really dumb to release this footage. It doesn’t prove anything and it raises more questions than it answers. It just goes to show what terrible decision making they have at the top.
A full minute gap on a reset is absolutely ridiculous. I’ve never seen anything like it and I’ve seen some pretty janky security systems as someone in security during college.

So a minute is lost every day due to some impossible to figure out technical error no other basic security system has. And also the camera shifts angle slightly too when that minute is lost?

Part of my job for the last ten years has been to help monitor and track down camera footage for a similar type of facility. Hundreds of cameras rolling 24/7. I’m looking for employee issues, injuries, stolen items, you make it and I’m looking for it as soon as the incident is reported.
I’ve spent hundreds of man hours rolling through at least 3 different software platforms. Never once has a minute or any amount of time just skip. The footage is usually stored for 30 days and it’s always there. Sometimes the camera fails so there’s absolutely nothing. Sometimes the power goes out building wide and theres no footage period. But never, not once have I witnessed a small blip like the Epstein case.
