He could be compared to a lot of despots. In general I have always found it’s best to leave Hitler out of it. Just saying.
Trump is not only aiming to be another Hitler, but he is the stupidest person ever to rise such power. That combination is exceptionally dangerous.

They found the perfect way of manipulating the masses to vote against their own self interests.

Granted that holocaust started under the last guy (and he and his party also deserve blame for capitulating on literally everything the open fascist party is now doing – in addition to letting genocidal maniacs get away with genocide, their betrayal of immigrants rights groups while they expanded ICE even further is particularly stinging) and has bipartisan support. But he’s now turned what was already a borderline gestapo agency of the federal government into a full blown masked secret police that is kidnapping people on the street and deputizing white supremacist militias to act as bounty hunters.
We have a domestic ethnic cleansing campaign being carried out by the openly fascist scumbags in power spewing ‚great replacement theory‘ neo-nazi conspiracy theories to ‚justify‘ their campaign of brutality – meanwhile our government funds & arms & gives diplomatic cover for an ongoing genocide that an apartheid ethnostate we back is committing against a trapped population of millions.

Up until just a few weeks ago these types of comparisons were dismissed as „being disrespectful for those affected during Hitler’s reign“. But look how the optics have changed with violently rounding up non whites and putting them in camps. What was the breaking point? 🤦♂️
