It’s the same disingenuous and misleading talking points.
His base may be taken in, but he’s lost forever the additional votes he needs to win.
I know it’s a lot to hope for but could it be that the defeat is delayed not the win? OTOH I’m sure Carney would like PP as his opponent.

On immigration, Poilievre said the Liberals have ruined Canada’s immigration system and vowed to crack down on what he called “abuse” in the international student and temporary foreign workers programs.”
Nothing but facts, Carney hasn’t talked about housing or crime at all recently, he’s backed down to Trump as well.

Remember how all the adults talked in Charlie Brown/Peanuts cartoons. That’s what I hear now when Poilievre speaks. 🙄
Remember, the CPC worked with the LPC recently, voting in favour of their bill. The minute PP walks in, you know they’re going to start voting no on every Liberal initiative just for the heck of it.
Surely if Pierre and the conservatives have some good common sense bills that can fix our problems he can introduce them on opposition day and compromise with other parties to get them passed?
If he gets back in the House it will be the return of hate filled rambling and complaining rather than anything constructive. That’s all he knows.

Why wasn’t Damien Kurek capable of this? Why was such an incapable person standing as a CPC candidate in the first place?
The interviews Poilievre has done is quite enlightening to his mindset. He insists he didn’t make any mistakes during the campaign, they had such a great platform, they had so many votes, which still doesn’t address the question of why he lost. There’s no humility at all, and if he refuses to admit any faults or make changes he won’t be able to hang on as leader.
In the interview he even insults his old riding, saying it was full of public sector workers, but he had to „put the country first“ instead. I guess it can be said with confidence he won’t be running there next election.
He’s basically acting like Kevin Falcon in BC during his downfall, his political career is finished but he doesn’t realize it yet.
