What difference would it make? Your god would know whether she’s lying with or without the cross, right? Why does her taking it off somehow make it okay for her to lie? The cross necklace is made out of earthly materials and metals by humans and is not magical. It is just metal in the shape of a cross. I could bend a pretzel to be the shape of a cross. Would that make it holy and magical?
