More regional dishes that are almost unknown outside their places of origin.

Keep in mind, all this native food that can be presented, instead people are falsely told “there’s hardly any native Armenian food, so it’s ok to stuff our menus with Georgian food to compensate” And this is without even taking into account Western Armenian foods.

The fact our food is not known is a failure of marketing and nothing else.

We can start with basic things. For example, instead of cooking Shotis Puri in their Tonirs, restaurants can hire displaced Artsakhtsi women to cook their Artsakh Tonir bread.

    2. Visiting Armenia next month for the first time, can’t wait. Only worry I have around the food is that I am veggie and I wonder if that means I won’t have a lot of choice when eating out.

Are there vegetarian options on menus normally or is it just a meat fest?
