That’s some straight-up Trump shit coming from Alberta’s Minister of Municipal Affairs. No politician uses words like „woke“ and „DEI“ that except to signal alignment with MAGA. Threatening lower levels of government on explicitly ideological grounds is the exact same thing Trump has been doing across the US.
Remember, „DEI“ stands for „diversity, equity, and inclusion.“
Dan Williams is the worst minister of the bunch. The fact they gave him Municipal Affairs is so stupid. I had my problems with Ric McIver but at least he had an inkling of sense. Williams? Fuck no.
