NDP Start 2025 Kampagnenüberprüfung, bevor das Führungsrennen ausgelöst wird

I know the party’s federal council had a meeting this week discussing the leadership race rules. I wonder if the party is deliberately doing the review before the race, or if the review is just getting underway before they’ve finished making the plans for the leadership campaign. I’m inclined to guess the latter.

That being said, a lot of people seem to be clamouring for an excessively long leadership campaign. Maybe we could get a best of both worlds situation by delaying the start of the leadership race for a while, then having a normal length of time for the official campaign. There’s no reason a leadership candidate couldn’t start laying their groundwork now
