They’re gutting public services, then spending that on US military equipment to satisfy Trump. Why does Canada need to fork over cash to US weapons manufacturers to get ready for some theoretically imminent war with China and Russia, while sacrificing our quality of life in the process?
Had Poilievre done this, he’d be getting raked over the coals for it, and rightfully so. But everyone’s keen to let Carney off the hook as if he’s playing 27D chess here. There’s a difference between letting Trump think he’s winning, and actually letting him win. This is clearly the latter.
