I hope that this excessive marketing is them being nervous about a new Superman and not them covering up a crappy movie.

Didn’t they say the same thing about The Flash?

It feels like a fan project of someone who ‘loves’ (or claims to): Kingdom Come, All-Star Superman and JLA. I think it’s an acquired taste to be a fan, as I’ve always felt disconnected.

Fans are seeing the art they love coming to life in live-action.

People who’ll end up hating this movie, and have found Morrison, and Ross overrated (before this film), are completely justified. But this is what the angle of Gunn’s vision of DC is.

I prefer Frank Miller/ Alan Moore (as an influence).

Interesting comment about the chemistry between Lois and Superman/Clark.

The best Superman movies have always been the ones where the chemistry between them was great.

Only the original ones with Reeves and Kidder lived up to that standard.

Amy Adams was incredibly dull and boring as Lois and so was Bosworth.

Also, I think every actor who has played Superman since Reeves made the mistake of trying to play Superman as this stoic figure. It’s ok to show Superman with some actual personality and humor. That’s where Routh failed.
