What a deeply disturbing case. I hope she’s as OK as she can be with all off this.
I wonder where he procured the pills from. – Got them from a doctor but they where the wrong dose? Sounds suspicious to me.
Absolutely shocking and devastating for the poor woman. I thought when I saw the headline he was helping her when she couldn’t get the pills… Boy was I wrong. What a terrible human being.
That headline is terrible. It should be something more like “Paramedic uses drug to force woman to abort their baby and then sexually assaults her whilst she is unconscious”
The way it is written is not clear that the woman was not a consenting party to abort the child.
He cheated on his wife, lied that he was single, drugged the woman he got pregnant to cause an abortion, drugged her again and raped her while she was actively miscarrying and in 10 years he’s free to do it again
This is a bizarre choice for a headline from the BBC.
It’s so bizarre that I at first didn’t think it was a bbc article. Cannot fathom who decided this and how it passed any sort of editorial test.
What an idiotic and life endangering thing to do. What happened to putting a cap on it? Or not being sexually being active with said woman in the first place? He deserves all he gets.

I’ve been in an ambulance service 6 years and of course we hear about the worst cases all the time, and sadly nothing surprises me any more……. Except this……. This is truly abhorrent.
I’m glad he’s recieved 10 years, but why did that delivery driver who raped a woman so hard she had a miscarriage only recieve a 12 month sentence? it’s all over the place
