He got screwed. He would have been great as Blade. I hope Scarlett’s gives him her lawyers number and gets him some cash for waiting around.

In fairness he’s just an actor, it’s not like they tell him shit except “Hey, here’s your check, now come act in this movie please.”, until that happens he doesn’t and wouldn’t know up from sideways.
I think it’s time to just accept that this version of this movie is never going to happen.
Ryan Coogler clearly repurposed the script and morphed it into Sinners, so with marvel dragging their ass, they are now back to square one.
I don’t want to go down too much of a rabbit hole but there is an idea that racists in Hollywood stop popular black actors from getting more popular and this could fit into that conspiracy. I would love to be proven wrong. Have a nice day.
