Yep. They’re planning to put little kids in those cages. And pregnant people. Did you see any medical facilities, in any of those horrific PR clips? I saw bunk beds, toilets, and buildings they said were for showers.
No hospital, for when people get sick, or injured by the ICE goons. No facilities for little children, so they’re planning to put them right there in the same cages.

This whole thing baffles me. We already demonstrated that we can’t deport these folks. The planes were getting turned around. We started outsourcing detainment to third world countries. Now we’re taking tax paying documented and undocumented working folks and sticking them in a tent city to become wards of the state at a cost to the tax payer. Why would fiscal conservatives approve of this? Those pregnant women and children were being provided for at little to no cost to the tax payer. How much annually will it cost to house these folks in detainment?
The argument of morality won’t sway our republican counterparts. We need to start talking dollars because that’s all they care about. What is the average tax revenue of a migrant worker and what is the total cost of detainment, including this new enforcement initiative. Also, what about the loss of GDP in businesses like construction, farming, and roofing that are dominated by this labor group?

They believe women are no more than a vessel and children should starve, work in factories, never educate with girls marrying old men at 13.
