Not actually true. Ireland is down 10% year on year because we’re expensive and hotel capacity is down due to for IPAS/refugees. That said the weather will be a big selling point – moderately mild and damp alternative to getting baked in the Mediterranean.

This is propaganda. Yes Trump sucks and revenue is dropping but it’s not much. If we take international tourism it’s dropping like 7%. Nobody cares. 90% or more of US tourism is domestic. I’m frankly shocked that international tourism is remaining that high.
I won a $30K scholarship to Trump U in 2008. I went to Trump Tower before my classes started to see it. After 4 hours there I figured out Trump was a massive fraud, a scammer. Even the chocolatier next door that I stopped in afterwards were like, „people believe him, but he’s a massive liar“. BTW, the Tower was a dump.
I’m currently on what used to be a huge summer vacation spot for Canadians. The town is DEAD. Like, we’ve seen more homeless people than actual people. It’s really sad. We ended up doing some shopping as se felt bad for the small business owners.

If I knew there was a small chance my vacation might include a visit to A detention center and my family being separated there’s no way, not in a million years I would visit that country.
