I really dont think that they can afford a 2 front war at this point. The west would put its entire weight to defend Azeri oil

Bullshit, Armenia won’t let third-party countries wage war from its territory.

Doesn’t it need approval from Armenia as well? Somehow I doubt Pashinyan is going to approve additional personnel deployment in his country after everything he managed to achieve and kick out many Russian troops

      1. Armenian Foreign Ministry has already stated that it will not allow any state to use it’s territories to strike any of it’s neighbors. Azerbaijan included.

      2. Azerbaijan and Russia border one another and the Russians don’t need to use Armenia.

      3. They can also use the Caspian sea for a direct attack on Baku.

Therefore this information is highly susceptible.

More like propaganda. Officially denied by the spokesperson of Armenian MFA:

In response to certain fabricated reports circulating in media, the Republic of Armenia reaffirms its principled position that the territory of the Republic of Armenia cannot be used by third countries to carry out military actions against any of the neighboring states.

    6. This is very unlikely. Armenia will not agree to become a collateral damage. As soon as hypothetical active phase of the Russo Azerbaijani war starts, Azerbaijan would wipe out entirety of the Russian base in Armenia along with other military objectives. Logically Russian offensive must be followed by land invasion and likely with some naval operation, if Russia wants to achieve any meaningful military victory. At which point Turkey and collective West will step in to protect their massive oil interests in Azerbaijan. Russia absolutely can not afford the second front and Caucasus.
I’m not even going to talk about military and logistics difficulties when it comes to mountain military operations.
