      Just another move in Republicans war on education in America. In 1969, before they fired their first proverbial shots, the US literacy rate stood at 99%. Today it stands at 79%…

      54% of US adults have a literacy below sixth grade level and 21% of Americans 18 and older are completely illiterate!

      So I am confused didn’t they just show 200,000job increase in education as they just put out if so how can they defund the department creating all these jobs if so or was that report full of shit

      Education should be a federal concern because the whole nation suffers when Americans, regardless of state, are uneducated. China and other nations are advancing because of this mindset.
