For those wondering:
871.14 EH/s (Exahashes per second) = 871.14 quintillion hashes per second = 871,140,000,000,000,000,000 hashes per second (that’s 871 followed by eighteen zeros)
1 ZH/s (Zettahash per second) = 1 sextillion hashes per second = 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 hashes per second (1 followed by twentyone zeros)
Many Ethereum supporters claim that Bitcoin mining will eventually collapse. Personally I don’t know, maybe they are right and maybe they’re wrong. Hashrate is the right metric to keep an eye on to react in time. Until it stops growing, I’m not overly concerned.
