Given what I’ve seen over the last couple years from Musk, and given what happened with DOGE, I don’t think this is a party I’d have any interest in supporting, but if it splits republicans then great!
I for one am not running to a billionaire to solve problems created by the existence of billionaires in general and this one in particular.
Plenty of Americans back more parties (which already exist, we have the Green Party, the Libertarian party, the Constitution party, and the Natural Law Party) the only ones supporting Elon Musk’s effort however, would be the same ones who voted for The Fanta Führer exclusively.
But segmenting the GOP isn’t a bad thing, it would benefit everyone by making it so that the GOP wouldn’t win anymore.

The problem is that musk doesn’t know what the fuck he’s doing. Trump threatened to primary his internal opposition because his name carries weight in the base.
Musk funding candidates against Trump-backed candidates would be a fools errand. They would all just coast to reelection.
If he wants to punish republican congresspeople, he needs to run alternative candidates in *general* elections to split the vote. I don’t think he’s thought that far ahead.
